鲜花做成的“头”看起来十分时髦，西班牙摄影师Miguel Vallinas的“Roots”（根）系列用这样的方式探讨了人类个体/个性的发展。
沿用“Skins”和“Second Skins”系列中替换人物头部的方式，在“Roots”系列中Vallinas将动物的头颅换成了植物，意欲表现环境对人类所产生的不可见的影响；也许命运从根儿上就决定了你是谁，但随着环境的改变人却能在成长中拥有自己的个性，变成自己所希望的样子。
