摄影师Gideon Mendel摄影作品“Drowning World”
2007年至今，Gideon Mendel已经走访了六个遭受了猛烈洪水摧残的国家（英国、印度、海地、巴基斯坦、澳大利亚及泰国）。他想以影像的形式形象地说明气候变化这一严峻全球性问题。该摄影项目的重点是刻画遭受洪水侵害、个人财产蒙受损失的受害者形象。这些来自全世界不同地方的受害者的表情向世人说明：尽管生活和环境迥然不同，灾难面前他们一样的脆弱。
