阿狄丽娜来自于希腊神话的故事。希腊神话里有一个美丽的传说。很久很久以前，有个孤独的塞浦路斯国王，名叫皮格马利翁（Pygmalion）。
他雕塑了一个美丽的少女，每天对着她痴痴地看，最终不可避免地爱上了少女的雕像。他向众神祈祷，期盼着爱情的奇迹。他的真诚和执着感动了爱神阿芙洛狄忒（Aphrodite），赐给了雕塑以生命。从此，幸运的国王就和美丽的少女生活在一起，过着幸福的生活。
