钟埭老街，东西走向，长约2里，分为东大街和西大街。老街南临钟埭河，旧石板路面，东西首各存有廊棚一小段，基本保存着清末民初的格局和风貌。有史料这样记载：“相传五代吴越（907～960）时，有钟姓氏族居此，故名钟溪，又名钟埭。”
