上次见面，我还在坐月子。你来家里，小心翼翼抱着菲比，说好软，软得你都不敢动。
这次见面，向来戒备心较重的菲比，却出人意料地一头栽进你怀里，令我们都十分差异。
未曾相见的日子里，你已经在国外完成了一年学业。此次回家，也是一番周折，所幸的是，一切尚好。
每次我们联系，都会自报时间，我说，北京时间几月几日几点几分，你报英国时间几月几日几点几分，8个小时的时差，偶尔将我们的对话给切割成断断续续的片段。
有时候你忙于辩论赛，我忙于出差。有时候你在自制中餐，我则在学习烤戚风蛋糕。有时候你在旅行，我则在加班。
我们各自忙碌各自的事，或螺旋上升，或安于现状。
这次你回来，我又用烤肉招待你。你有很多忌口，我便在烤盘上拨出一个区域单独留给你。我婆婆在你面前铺了很多五花肉，你说来我们家都吃撑了。
相约这一天，还是西方文化里的平安夜。我们凑热闹一般地去了嘉里中心，想看看高近20米的圣诞树。到了现场，你感慨氛围浓厚，说在英国似乎都没有那么热闹，回国的感觉也太好了。
