《Istanbul》是Alex Webb2007年出版的一本摄影集，主要拍摄于伊斯坦布尔。Alex Webb说：“我想自从我1979年开始拍摄彩色作品后我的构图方式就没什么太大的变化，但在过去二十个年头里，我的作品在精神层面上变得比较复杂，这也许反映了我的生活，身为丈夫，孩子的父亲，失去双亲，而且我感觉这个世界变得越来越复杂，但从我的作品中不太容易从视觉上直接看到这种复杂的感觉，这取决于我拍摄的地点。例如我于1997及2005年在伊斯坦堡的作品也许是我所有作品中在视觉上最复杂的，但并不是因为我当下的心境复杂，而是伊斯坦堡本身就是个很丰富多元的城市。”；
“我拍摄彩色照片这么多年后，当我看到一个场景，我看到的不再是单纯的“故事”或“情境”，我更会看到所有的颜色，以及颜色与周围事物的呼应及如何产生共鸣。拍摄彩色作品让我更注重光线的质量，在我早期的白作品中，我没有花太多心思在光线的细节。自从我开始拍色彩色作品后，我开始更注意光线的颜色，角度，分配，氛围，这些元素都能轻易又完全地改变一张作品。”
