薇薇安迈尔（Vivian Maie）是一名才华横溢的街头摄影艺术家。生前是一位在芝加哥工作了40年的保姆。在上世纪五六十年代，薇薇安常通过一个禄来相机来看世界，在芝加哥、纽约等城市的街头捕捉了成千上万个生动的瞬间。在生前她可能只是一位名不见经传的妇人，也从未把照片展示给人看过，然而去世后却留下了数以万计的未冲洗的胶卷。在2007年，芝加哥当地历史学家约翰·马鲁夫发现了她的大量底片并开始整理，因为更多的底片还没有冲洗，所以薇薇安的博客还会有源源不绝的照片可以持续更新。
