Arnaud Bathiard，1973年出生於法國勃艮第，是一位專注於黑白水景的藝術攝影師。 他對旅行充滿熱情，經常以極簡主義的方式處理影像，採用長時間曝光技術。這給系列拍攝於威尼斯的冬季，在郵件中，他說：“我特別喜歡威尼斯的這個季節，當晨霧讓建築物和橋樑消失，這座城市乾淨的沒有一絲塵世氣息。我想我的威尼斯與在城市上兜售的陳詞濫調很不相稱：這是一座幽靈城市，被霧氣和沉默籠罩，在永恆的冬天裏結冰。”
