净土寺，位于大竹县城东郊，距县城竹阳镇5公里，其前身为唐武则天天授二年（即公元691年）兴建的复兴寺，后复兴寺因年久失修及文革时期的严重损毁，已荡然无存。2002年9月，高僧释德道云游至此，看到此处地势独特，山青水秀，实为难得的一方净土，便在此重建庙宇，取名净土寺。
