在街头拍摄恢复了采集者的经验：看到、采摘、丢入篮中。单次的拍摄依托于单次的冲动：在六十分之一秒中，没有逻辑。直到被采集的照片堆积如山、不得不处理的时候，才开始慌忙以“组织某种关系、赋予某种意志承载”的方式将照片拼接称为摄影集，使其消失（记录图鉴摆脱了这种困境）。
这些都是从先前被舍弃的照片中选取出来的。筛选的原则、数量全部由另一个人决定，我对此毫不知情。这是我处理它们的方式。
照片在“存在性”的问题上不会说谎，但当将其组合起来试图传达意义时，那必定是谎言，正如我前面叙述的那般。
